Proposed Solution
We carried out comprehensive 3D laser scanning across the property, with all rooms and openings cleared beforehand to ensure clean data capture. Photogrammetry was used alongside scanning to support documentation of architectural details and conservation with condition mapping.
In total, 2,325 scans were captured across the site. The point cloud data was processed and registered in FARO SCENE within 5 days, achieving 2mm accuracy. As-built drawings were completed in AutoCAD within 25 days, followed by 3D modelling in Revit over 30 days, using RECAP to manage and reference the point cloud data throughout.
