Business Requirement

The client, an archaeology team working on an excavation site in Vadnagar, required detailed documentation of excavated finds along with accurate measurement of excavation volume across a 5,700 sqm site area.

Proposed Solution

We used drone-based aerial photography combined with high-resolution camera capture to document the site and findings. To ensure clean, accurate data, all movement around the site was paused during photo capture. The images were processed through photogrammetry software to generate precise volumetric data of the excavation and detailed records of the finds for archaeological documentation.

Challenges Faced

Pits were too deep almost 30meter down and climbing down to each pit was very risky and honeybees were the main problem in archaeology site.

Outcome

Accurate volumetric documentation of the excavation and detailed visual records of finds, supporting the archaeology team's research and reporting requirements.
