Business Requirement
The client required accurate and comprehensive documentation of the heritage structure to support conservation and restoration activities. The documentation helped conservation architect with As-built 2D drawings and BIM Model with LOD400 detailing. Along with that Quantity take-off, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and condition assessment reports, and conservation plan. Additionally, the solution should facilitate systematic, step-by-step planning and execution of conservation interventions.
Proposed Solution
The entire temple complex (total 5 Nos of temples) was digitally captured using high-precision LiDAR scanning to create comprehensive documentation. Despite the high number of daily visitors,the site was successfully scanned with minimal disruption. Advanced data processing techniques were applied to eliminate noise caused by human movement, resulting in a clean, precise, and highly detailed digital output.
